TEMPUR® is a material unlike anything you have ever touched before. TEMPUR® is a visco-elastic temperature sensitive material that moulds to your body. It yields slowly under compression, making no counter pressure, until the load is distributed on the entire area. When the load is removed, TEMPUR® recovers slowly.
Combining softness with unmatched durability TEMPUR® is a comfort revolution. In a standard test, the thickness loss of TEMPUR® after 80,000 compressions is less than 5 percent compared to approximately 10-15 percent for a highly elastic polyurethane foam.
TEMPUR® Improves Sleep QualityThe improved circulation influenced by the TEMPUR® Mattress significantly reduces the need to toss and turn in bed thereby improving sleep quality. A clinical study showed that an average turning of 80-100 times per night would reduce to 17-20 times on a TEMPUR® Mattress. Pressure relief is the key to comfort.
The pressure on a human body lying on a bed can be measured using an elastic 'quilt' containing pressure sensors connected to a computer. The TEMPUR® Mattress was compared to a top quality spring mattress. The results were displayed on the computer screen through a colour code method.
Spring Mattress ComparisonLight blue and blue indicate areas of low pressure. Green, yellow and red indicate areas of high pressure and discomfort. The results show that by far the best pressure relief was obtained with the TEMPUR® Mattress.
TEMPUR® products are made from a viscoelastic material. This material was developed by NASA, who in the late 60's had to develop a material that would improve seating comfort and increase g-force protection in spacecrafts. NASA came up with a suitable material which they named TEMPER (the spelling was later modified after product development to TEMPUR®).

The TEMPUR® Deluxe is a 22cm mattress that offers a different construction combining a quilted cover with a 2cm layer of deliciously soft TEMPUR® embedded within it. Pillows - 3 years
A 3 year full warranty is provided for all TEMPUR® pillows in regard to production defects. The warranty covers physical defects or changes that cause a visible indentation (more than 2 cm) in the TEMPUR® material. The warranty does not cover normal changes in hardness or properties that do not affect the pressure-relieving properties. The warranty is valid only if the TEMPUR® product is used and handled as described in these instructions for use.

0-5 years - Full Warranty
6-15 years - the Warranty is reduced by 1/10 per annum.
The warranty covers physical defects or changes that cause a visible indentation (more than 2 cm) in the TEMPUR® material. The warranty does not cover normal changes in hardness or properties that do not affect the pressure-relieving properties. The warranty is valid only if the TEMPUR® product is used and handled as described in these instructions for use. For any manufacturing defects on the covers, the same warranty will apply as per above. If a claim is made under the warranty, you must present an invoice or sales receipt as validation of your purchase.
